Ever Hear Of Clutch Pedal Snapping??

Ok so i did some searching before I posted this and I didnt really find anything, so here it goes... The clutch pedal goes straight to the floor with no resistance what so ever... Someone told me that the shaft that connects the pedal assembly to the piece that pins up to the master cyclinder snaps commonly in these cars and Im looking for opions on this if it is true or not before I go threw the hassle of trying to take it out from up under the dash (I unpinned the master cyclider from the clutch pedal assembly and it felt stong so IDK...)

Overall Problem Progress: replaced the slave cyclinder and bled what LITTLE air came out; all the lines seem strong yet; and no leakage at the master cyclinder... Im starting to go nutz help!!!

The pedal assemblies can get out of whack,which if its been like that for awhile could break it. I know a guy locally that kept breaking slave cylinders because his pedal assembly was tweaked. They sell reinforced assemblies for that reason.

I believe that Shep Trans reinforces clutch pedal assemblies, I'm not sure of exactly what their process is but I think I remember seeing something on their site

Just had a buddy whose assembly had some play, not snapped, but enough to where it wasn't engaging the clutch. Sent it to shep and had them 'reinforce it' ,as kennyg said, go it back and clutch engaged.
