soo... my g/f's car keeps dieing while she is driving. if you turn the key off and then back on it starts right up and runs til it dies again. but its loosing the power out of pin 2 of the ecu, we put a tester ecu in and it does the same thing

2GNT.com - 1995_ECU

pin 2 runs the power for pretty much everything so it looses the power to the coil pack, injectors ect. but like i said it starts back up if your cycle the key let me know any help would be appreciated if not that's cool to thanks in advance for any input tho

um... so the power is controlled by ecu itself? have you tried swapping in a known good ecu? it might be possible that your ecu is crapping out, i have seen it happen with neons all the time. they are on back order as a mater of fact. i would look at you ecu.

open the hood at night and look at the coil pack ill almost guarantee youll see sparks around the coil if you give it a lil gas . is the coil painted or the valve cover if the coil is painted get a new coil its junk if someone painted it and if not check to make sure the coil is getting good ground under the coil should be 4 bare spots for ground . my esi did the same thing i got a new coil and it was good as new .
