I ran a log a few days ago, just messing around with the palm logger, and I noticed very erratic readings on OILP which I assume to be oil pressure...
What sender is this reading made on and why do I get such strange readings... some points I have negative pressure and in some steady state RPM ranges the pressure jumps up and down. This can't be normal... can it?
BTW, the car has a new straight cut OEM oil pump so I don't think that's the problem. I am installing a real oil pressure gauge this, or next, weekend and I'm curious if I need to retain the stock sender for the ECU or if this can be replaced with the sender for my new gauge.
