Just went to get my car e-checked. I've read PLENTY of threads already but wanted something that applied a little more to my specific situation. I passed on every point EXCEPT HC. The limit is 220, and I pulled in an amazing 1442.7. Nearly seven times the limit. I leaned out my fuel trims to -20 thinking that it would help, but obviously not. Could the EGR blockoff mod be the cause of this?
Also, I beleive I got cheated. The guy couldnt hold the RPM at 2500, so he enters "manager RPF override mode", which tells the computer my car is at 2500 RPM even though it could be at any RPM. I KNOW by the sound of my car he was ATLEAST at 4k RPM. I think that little stunt he pulled also helped me fail. Any input on how to pass or how to prove to the license agency that I got completed jipped?
