well here is another newbie forums post. unfortunately I must go through this to get to the people with the real knowledge and help that I currently am in need for. anyway i'm going to post my issue on here and maybe someone can bind me over to someone who can help me. I have searched through many different sites and forums for help with no luck
I have a 95 talon and I have a sheet metal intake, s90 Throttle valve, gt3582R turbo, 3" turbo back, no cat, exhaust, innovate LC-1 WB sensor, evo scan, gm MAF-T, GM 3 bar MAP, 650 FIC injectors, 255 FP, atmospherical WG dump, innovate mechanical boost gauge(for boost verification). the problem I am having is the fact that I went from stock intake with a super 20G to all these current mods. I was running 20 PSI boost on a 93/110 octane fuel mixed and the car ran great with no knock or any issues. I upgraded to all this "better stuff" and now my car starts breaking up at about 15 PSI of boost. doesn't mater per throttle it does it no matter what. AFR's are dead on and the log is throwing knock signal but it's not pre detonation that is causing the break up. I have tried richening and leaning it out, I have done BLT's and my system is solid. new NGK 7's and I I have COP but have also tried switching back to stock coils with no difference. plugs are gapped at .018 as I was intending to return my boost level to about 18 PSI for the summer till I tear the engine down and do a full internals upgrade. I have switched GM MAF sensors as well. tomorrow I am going to put the stock MAFS back just to see if I am out flowing the GM sensor but I highly doubt it. i'm spinning in circles here and am out of ideas so some kind of help would be appreciated.
