Ok. So i was coasting on an open road in 4th gear i believe. i was going about 80 and my rpms were at about 3400 or 3500. All of a sudden my engine stuttered and felt like a mini fuel cut or if i was to quickly tap my brakes.
Could it be my plugs maybe? or does anyone have any other ideas?

Loose connections between the rubber pieces and the metal piping . Last tune up ? How was car running before this ? Is profile up to date with mods ? Any noises previous to stutter ?

Well.. I recently got ran off the road going around 55 mpg. But i'd now sure if it was in connection to that because i slid in the grass to a stop. (scared the crap out of me though)
also i noticed oil on the bottom of my turbo today while i replaced the hydraulic clutch line from my slave cylinder to my bleeder vlave.. I took a pic so i'll upload that right now and post it in my next reply..

Alright. Here's the pic i got from under my turbo yesterday...

check you feed line fron the head to make sure it is not leaking oil. check it both on the turbo and at the head. your leak could be bad copper washers

Wow, to me it looks like your band clamp is leaking massivly. I wonder if that would be your boost leak? See how it is all blowing through on the right side, to me it doesn't look like your feed line because the oil is not running across the band clamp to where the major pool is. To me it looks like air is blowing oil out the right side of the clamp and pooling there.

I checked the feed lines. (i just looked for the lines with copper fitting LOL)
They were just fine.

Oldman: if you're guess is right then what would i need to do? just tighten the clamp (i hope)

Honestly, if you don't plan on doing alot of performance upgrades. I suggest going to www.vfaq.com, buying a 14b rebuild kit and rebuild that puppy. Sounds like it has some miles on it and could use a little maintenance. If you don't want to go that rout, then yes i would suggest tightening it slighty, but remember that this clamp is failing already, this will not fix your problem, only prolong it.

The guy i bought it from had this engine put in (last one had crankwalk) and all the seals and valves redone and what not.
I'm not looking to get 500 hp or anything.
I just want something that I can get good gas milage with BUT defiantly throw me in the back of my seat when my right foot feels obligated.
It's a 16G turbo (not sure big or small..i'm still learning things) but could that oil have something to do with my blue smoke cloud when i shift? or is that more of a internal engine problem perhaps?

(i've been reading up on VFAQ but i still have questions...sry)

Yah, blue smoke sounds like oil in your a/f mixture too me. Maybe it's time to do a compression test and make sure your cylinders are still holding pressure. Check to see if their is any blow-bye in your UICP (the one with your blow-off vlave on it). Besides that i would definatly say your turbo took a big dump or is in the process of it. Just a note, check the uipc for blow bye, before compression test, no blow bye no need for compression test.

Every reply you give me makes me realize how little i know :D
and what exactly is blow-bye?

Ok I went out and took my car down the road and back and then it's what i was after...
The last two pictures are 2) top of the turbo and 3) under the engine...

hummm, your going to have to pull that tube that the bov is sitting on off and run your finger inside. If their is lots of oil on your finger you are getting lots of blow-bye. My next question for you is what viscocity oil are you running?

This is going to look bad but..i just got the car about a month ago so i actually don't know what kind of oil the guy used..i was going to get a full engine flush and run Mobil 1 full synthetic.

And i'm running out my door right now so i don't have time to pull the pipe off...but Can i just disconnect the tube running to the air intake and then the first rings on each side of the pip that the BOV is over and take off the BOV section?
or did you mean something else?

i unscrewed the clamps to the pipe and took off the tube going from my manifold to my BOV and the tube going from my intake to my BOV but i still couldn't manage to take it off =/
I started to unbolt my fuse box to get it off but i didn't have enough time ( i had to go to my church to practice guitar ) so i bolted everything back up and left.

One thing i did notice though is that there was some silver stuff coming off of my BOV =/
it almost feels like paint. Any idea? WTF

Looks like your leaking oil from the feedline/banjo bolt. The mini fuel cut could be casue of to much boost or creep, what are your mods?

It's just a 16G with a K&N air filter, SAFC, no fuel system upgrade to my knowledge :notgood: (injectors, fuel pump, afpr). but yeah... I'm hopeing that it's just my turbo that's causeing the smoke at high rpms when I shift.
