I recently purchased a 90 AWD Talon with wiring issues. Those have been fixed and the car is running, I noticed today while changing the oil, the engine is just about sitting on the lower control arms and crossmembers. I noticed it also while driving and hitting small potholes, the transmission would slap the lower control arm. Also the steering wheel vibrates insanely. The car currently has megan springs with kyg shocks and struts, could the lowering springs cause this or does it have to do with the motor mounts?

True. Do a search on mounts for my steering does the shakes as well at certain revs.

Mounts in my ride, except the tranny mount, have all but sagged. Manage to strike gold at a yard and pulled the three that I need to replace for 15 bucks in excellent condition.

Thats pretty much the symptons described, I know the rear engine mount and tranny mount have the prothane insert, Ill be taking a better look, Thanks for the guidance!

Dude you got broken mounts. Its mostly your trans an the one under the back side of the engine. You got 4 mounts 3 on the engine 1 on the trans. Theres one testr to make sure just how bad it is. That's the old burnout test. Try it an if your front axels pop out with the boot then there broken, LOL. I did that test on a old ford I had. I took off tring to get on the interstate an when I gunned it the axle pulled out the boot. Wala trans fluid all over the ground.
