ok so i pulled a 6bolt from a wrecked 2g, and i ordered motor mounts for my 1g the other day. It's ready to go in, as soon as the mounts get here we're gonna start bolting it up and hooking everything up. Is there anything different from 2g to 1g? a guy told me the coilpack was different, and i'm pretty sure my buddy has one that i can buy from him. is there anything else? are 2g throttle cables the same as 1g throttle cables as well?

Okay, I am slightly confused about your situation so I wanted to clarify.... Are you swapping a 2G (7bolt) motor into your 1G? I am asking because you said it was a 6 bolt motor which would not have been the original motor for the 2g. If you do not know already how to tell the difference:

Depending on what the configuration of the motor is, you might run into more hurdles, the following link talks about a 1g 6bolt into a 2g, but it will give you some insight into what could be different between the motors:

The 2 G’s had several other differences including the CAS and the wiring to the Coilpack. Below are some links that should help you out, the first talks about the differences in the CAS:
