Engine idles eratically

Hey evryone,
I just bought a 2g spyder. It is a 97 gs shell with a 6 bolt 4g63 turbo motor. Ok I am having a few problems the person I bought it from said that it needed a turbo and a battery to run. I bought the battery and it starts right up. After I start it up it idles good for a minute or so and then after that it starts to idle eratically, and shuts off. Ican turn it back on right away but the same thing continues to happen. When I press on the gas and put it in gear it does move but will not accelerate past 3,000 rpm's when in neutral or in gear. I have no leaks and only had some white smoke but hardly any after the first or second start up. The BOV is recirculated. For some reason whoever re organized the wiring left a few plugs not plugged in and I can't find where they are supposed to go. That might be the main cause of this problem. I am a newbie and would greatly appreciate any help I can get with this. I will post pictures later Thanks.

Looks like an external dump o2 housing as I said before. The wastegate will dump into that pipe.

Whoever put the o2 dump tube on didn't hook up the o2 sensor and tried re-routing it to the exhaust. Would this throw a code

Well, if you don't have a working front o2 sensor, that'd cause a problem and the car wouldn't run right.

They welded the dump tube and took away the o2 sensor. How to I go about fixing this without removing the atmospheric dump tube. Can I relocate it to the exhaust and if so how?

You'd need to drill and weld in an o2 bung into the exhaust portion of your o2 housing.
