Ok so im installing new valve stem seals and some how i broke the Alignment pin on my intake cam. I have to have this fixed tomorrow, and the worst is that it broke clean off with no way to grab it with pliers. Is there any way if I do get it out to put a new one in ( do they even come out ) and if not and i have to drill it out how tough of a replacement pin does it half to be. Is the pin just for alignment when installing the cam gear or does it serve as a crucial component for driveablility

What can I do about this situation.

They come out easy. Use a 3/16" drill bit. Drill in about 1/4" & then just
jab the drill trigger on/off/on/off etc. The pin will actualy grab hold of
the drill bit during the on/off drilling. Replace with a pin from a nut 'n bolt
industrial shop (stronger than Mitsu pins) = 30c
Cheers !

thanks bro, i just went ahead and got another cam and put in, I drilled the other one then the damn bit broke off so i was pretty much done, i even took it to a shop today and they told me they cant get it out.
