emanage users?

if i unplug the emanage (bought the car with it) will it adversly effect the cars readings of the maf? does it just splice into the wires or are wires actually cut and fed thru the emanage?

My brother has the emanage and when he went to get emissions I asked why dont you just unplug the emanage so you have stock settings. He said the car will not even turn on without it installed. There is a way you can set it back to stock settings. Are you reading your settings on a laptop or the profec b?

laptop....the thing is my emanage was programmed for liek 550's and a 1g maf.

im now running a keyciver chip to compensate for the bigger injectors and a maft so the emanage as set is useless to me. im trying to tarck an issue im having with the ecu throwing a check engine light for the maft so i want to have as few things in the way as possible.
