I personally tried to use the e-manage but was very disappointed in the performace of the e-manage. I declared it a peice of crap. A better option is to use a KEYDIVER CHIP he has the abbility to re address the injector size into the factory ecu map hence the timing problem with larger injectors is gone. I have a good deal of experince with tuning my car and was not satisified with the e-manage. I found it to be a rather fustrating peice of hardware that needs to be devolped more.

those chips are only for 1g and you are stuck wiht whatever chip they make you, cant tune it or change setting on them without paying more money, I guess if you never plan on adding any more mods to your car its the way to go but for me emanage is way beter, Love it, grate tool

Well i have just read this review of the Greddy E-Manage/debate. And am asking the DSM comunity to if there is anyone else that has since gotten an E-Manage and has loved or hated it?. :talon: :dsm: :thumb:

I love my emanage. When i put in my IRC FMIC, i couldn't find a hose to route back to the intake so decided to vent to ATM. The emanage allowed me to do this without all the troubles by using the anti-stall maps. At a range of low-rpms (500-1100) i put in the specific karmann frequencies that the ecu likes to just sit and idle with. Example: when i let off the throttle less and it reaches a position of less than 1% it tells the ECU 50Hz at 1100rpm and 30Hz at 800rpm. etc.

When i upgraded from 450cc to 650cc injectors.. all you have to do to adjust it from stock is go into the main parameter settings and just input the old injector size and new injector size. The emanage then does a full-range correction of the entire map compensating making life VERY easy for me. However, once i put in my 2g maf-- all bets were off.. you have to input your own values. But it worked great with my 1g maf!

The pressure sensor feature is something i'm about to setup on my 1g. and i'll follow-up on how it works.

Thats just one of the nice features.. everyone else pretty much said it all.. but short of the AEM EMS-- this is the most powerful tuning tool IMO.

I used the emanage for over a year, veary good tuning tool, had some really nice options. Now I use a DSMlink which is 100% better and has more options. If you have a 95 E prom ECU go with a DSMlink, if you dont, get a Emanage.

Is there any way to change to rev limiter using E-manage? Or will i have to use a DSMchip or go stand alone, EMS?

The emanage is unable to raise the rev limit and is not capable of a studderbox. I have a chip from dsmchips.com for that.

I have a chip from DSMchips to compensate for the 2g maf and 550s... someone said there was a problem with the 2G maf and emanage, would this chip solve the problem.

Also having the chip + emanage would thier be any conflicts? The chip eliminates fuel cut so i woulden't need to play around with the emange fuel cut eliminator right?

I don't know that there is a problem with the 2g maf and emanage. I think he meant that he had to tune differently. Couldn't just input 450cc as the old and 650cc new and have it be tunned perfect. You have to come up with your own values just like with the 2g maf and SAFC. I've been using mine with the GM maf sensor with no problems. All vaules are zeroed out on the MAFT, I make an educated guess go for a cruise while logging and make any adjustments that are needed. Not really any different than setting up any other air fuel controller.

I'm using a 2G MAF with 650cc injectors on my emanage and have zero problems. Actually, with the anti-stall features, it helps out ALOT because i have to vent to atm because of my intake/intercooler setup.

i've got an e-manage and e-o1 in my 99 gsx. it seems ok so far. i ran 12.100 at 116, and i'm hoping to go faster. unfortunately i was one of the first to get one when they came out, so i've been playing guessing games with the tuning. i still can't get it to do the auto boost setup, i've been going off the wastegate % setting.i never used any other type of controller before, i just figured this would give me more overall control, we'll see how it goes.
