Ive been reading up on what people have been doing to help with wheel hop, and poly motor mount inserts sound like a good, cheap, idea. With that, i went to my local shop to see how much it would be for installation.....$687.00. There's no chance I'm paying that much. The mechanic said the two mounts down by the tranny would be the hardest, but still, 687 is alot. Would it be worth it to just get the top two mounts? or should i buy all four and search for a cheaper place?
thanks

why not do them your self.... I bought the top two and it did me the world. Also It only took me like 30mins. by myself, so you think about it 20$ for mounts and then 600 for install....That makes me laugh a lot man. I'd do it for like 5 bucks if I was there. So this thread is pointless man you know the answer to that question.

I realize 20$ for mounts and then 600 for install would be ridiculous, i wasn't even considering it. I might as well do the top two mounts and see how that works out.

30 min is a bit exagerated.
but this is a doable mod- you can also use window weld if you want to be really
cheep.
FYI - this isnt all that you need to do to loose the wheel hop but its a start. the upper control arms should have poly-bushings and the upper/lower shock bushings. (control/lateral arms would be nice also.)
