Eliminating my emissions, but I ran into a problem

By following the directions from taboo http://www.taboospeedshop.com/emissions.htm , I got rid of all the extra emission crap. In the picture it shows just one line hooked up to the Evaporative Emissions Canister, but I have two coming off mine, one goes to the Purge Control Valve and the other follows along the bottom of the firewall then heads to the back of the car. I'm guessing it goes to the gas tank. What do I do with it? Am I supposed to leave the canister in the car and keep that line hooked up?
 
I just left that line alone, it hasn't had any adverse side effects on my car after about 4 months. O and that line does go to the gas tank, pull that access cover out in your trunk, where the fuel pump is located and you will see the end of that line and a small plastic can. Personally I would just let it be there... wont hurt anything.
 
That line just lets all the vapors and crap like that vent somewhere. The charcol makes it so it doesnt smell like gas. Just leave it and let the other line dangle like an O2 dump and you will be cool.

this probably is a stupid question but will i pass emisions if i take most of that stuff out like on the taboo website, and what are the benifits? Thanks.

There are two lines that come out of the Charcoal canister. One comes from the gas tank and the other used to go to the intake pipe. The one that used to go to the intake pipe can be left just chillin. Just kinda point it towards the gruond.

When you take out the Evap cannister do you remove the "purge control valve and throw it out too? That isnt clear on the taboo site. You have the evap cannister with the hoses but one of the hoses has that plastic piece all connected to it called the purge control valve.Throw it out too? Also if i have a 1g engine but a 2g car/ECU ...WHich diagram am i going to be following on this taboo site? 1g or 2g?
