got a 1g thats tuned on dsmlink but has no wideband, no turbo timer, no nothin, would like to have the turbo timer so i dont have to sit in my car for a min, id love to have a race tune, and economy tune, and best gauges to want have with a dsm thanks for your input

Get a wideband, like yesterday. Based on your profile, either fixing the dash tach, or wiring in an aftermarket tach would be your next move.

Then an oil pressure gauge, preferably pre-turbo or at the OFH depending on your setup. Both wouldn't hurt.

Fuel pressure gauge mounted at the rail would be a good idea, and easy to install. Just replace the stock banjo bolt coming out of the filter with an -AN adapter and use a bolt on adapter to the rail. Then just make your own line and use a male-female fitting with a bung for 1/8NPT. I usually put that on all my setups.

Once those are sorted I would start to look into a turbo timer, as those aren't really vital more just for convenience.

Others to consider would be a proper EGT, oil temp gauge, a MAP for logging actual boost in the manifold.

dont waste 200$ etc for a turbo timer, when you can just sit in your car (economize). as far as which wideband, you DEFINITELY NEED ONE, 100%!!! some say they like the lc1, but me and all of my tuning friends all Prefer the AEM eugo gauge... its very accurate, and sexy looking... its pre programmed into dsmlink, just find which one reads properly, and youll be on your way to tuning success in no time! any questions just PM

In the event you have difficulty setting up the AEM UEGO (I have one as well) You will notice that there is the option for LinWideBand in Link.

You flip through the booklet that came with the UEGO and find the output for whichever setting you choose (P01, etc.) and you enter that in to the scale and set that on the inputs page.

It would be wise to keep the stock FrontO2, and have a second bung welded in for the Wideband. This will give you a form of sanity check.

IMHO, While your at it buying electronics, get an IAT sensor, and Map sensor, and just run Speed Density so tuning is a breeze. sell your maf to pay for it all and get the direct plugin wiring harness from ecmtuning.com

also, dont forget the AEM EUGO GAUGE! and i agree with landspeed, he is correct. but both my gauges worked perfectly with the eugo "R1" config.. switchpoint was 2.57 volts I beleive.
