I bought this car in December of '07. Always noticed the wires hanging down by my feet but never bothered messing with it till now. There was a switch in the panel, a On and Off switch (you can see by the hole). Can anyone make out what the previous owner could have had down there?

could have been anything really if its not connected to something then remove it. I can honestly think of 1001 uses for a switch. Ghetto amp turn on, ne0nz, alarm, ejector seat, hacking a speedo?

LOL ghetto amp turn on.:thumb: When I bought mine like 2 weeks later I pushed the button on the remote that I found in the glove box and the car started. I have since disabled the remote start.

When I bought my car it had a small switch in the kick panel as well. Not attached to anything. I've since come across several other cars in the junk yard that have a switch, again, none of which are attached to anything.. I've always wondered what they were.. They've all been normally open switches too, so they were used to start something, or activate a relay perhaps.
