My electrical connectors on my 4g63 eclipse are shattering!
like if i squeeze or pull them snap, some plastic breaks off and falls to the ground.
Any advice? should I be replacing them?
oh yeah, I really cant take apart these brittle plugs. help please!
 Yeah, I really need help on unplugging these little buggas

Which electrical connectors. Do you have any pictures just as a reference for us trying to help you. I'm sure you'll need to replace them though.

Basically all the electronic connectors on the carburetor, they are all bundled together in that plastic rail. I need them disconnected because I am rebuilding the head due to a t-belt failure.
I can just get new plugs at radio shack of a different type.

:dsm:

OK THAT PLUG IN THE PICTURE, YEAH THATS THE CULPRIT!

Looks like the TPS since you mentioned a carb but the car is fuel injected. So there's a throttle body and injectors but no carb, Maybe search online for a new wiring harness? Thats one mangled mess of wires you got yourself there.

Ok, thats not my car, mine is in good order,
but I can go for a new wiring harness. that is not a bad thing.

but still i have no clue as to how to unplug these god awful plugs!
Anyone know how to unplug these buggers?

If it's that bad, you might have to cut off all the connections and resolder or crimp in some new plugs. I would just try grab them gently and wiggle it side to side while slowly pulling them apart.
