So just got done pumping some mad iron at the gym :rocks::hellyeah:

Decieded I should go out to the talon and rip some stuff up.

While changing my thermostat I pulled some wiring plugs so they wouldn't get in my way...

with a giant manly grunt I accidently tore off the connectors for my Temp sensor for the ECU and the temp sensor for the fans. I know I'm such a beast right?

so my question is... anyplace to buy replacement plug in's? I searched and searched but my tiny tiny performance enhanced brain can't comprehend what key words I should be using. please tell me I don't have to junkyard to find these pieces I live in a terribly small town.

by the way... havn't been to pump iron since high school, years ago... I jog instead:thumb:.

Picture reference: these two christmas colored squared out connectors.

just go to a junkyard and cut them off another car, thats what i did and its simple.

small issue with this... see the nearest decent sized junkyard that "might" have a dsm in it is a good 3-5 hours away.

so maybe you could suggest a more common vehicle that has these same connectors that may be in my area... like a neon, focus, or perhaps a taurus ROFL

I don't have anything plugged into what you have circled green. My car came without it. What is it for ? Is it bad I don't have it ?

thats the flux capicitor. how are you ever supposed to travel through time at 88 MPH?

I was told it is the temp sensor "before the thermostat" that regulates your fans. I don't know but i'm pretty sure the 2g's dont have this connector?

well you could get it from a 95ish elantra with the 1.8 version 4g63 or a galant of some type, or find a locally for sale one and quickly grab em or a junk one sitting somewere. LOL thats how i do sometimes.

elantra... see now your speaking my backwoods hick language!

i'll go look around.

DSMGraveyard actually speializes in exactly that stuff. Did you destroy the connector, or just break the wires? I know that the ECU sender uses plain 1/4" spade terminals, not sure about the other one. You could just crimp on some hardware-store terminals to get going untill you find new plugs.

the connectors are fine the wires are severed.
