Nice set! I'm stuck with the evos for quite some time.

I remember my brother had offered me years ago 200 bucks to cut my hair.

I just couldn't do it haha.

Anyone still hitting up the track?

Im just waiting for a FMIC to complete my set up on the 18g and definitely want to go in the winter.

Have worked on your suspension for all those mods you plan for
You should replace all those oem bushings for prothane. Better handling!!!

I should have started there. I'm feeling it at WOT 100 mph.

?[Qt UOTE=Batman272;153312405]yeah im buying a clutch and flywheel next then onto fmic[/QUOTE]

speaking of suspension.... the car needs a whole new set up. so im slowly grabbing stuff here and there so that is what im doing after the clutch and flywheel and fmic because im going to be buying all of that 100% brand new

Just remember to toss a couple dollars in there for an alignment right after that. I chewed a set of tires up in a month by being lazy. Plus she was so off it was like trying to control a cat in tap shoes on ice. Bushings are a must to include the engine ones as well

hell if you could work me up a list for a 2g ill start buying them one by one. cause suspention stuff is like brail to me

This is the full set of the bushing in a customizable order that you can pick and choose. Energy Supension Customizable Bushing Kits (DSM) - Modern Automotive Performance Keep in mind that there is no point in buying them unless you are actually going to take the time to install them, which is a rather lengthy process. My recommendation is to buy one or two at a time and after they are installed and you are ready for more work, move on to the next one. I would start with the motor mounts, then the control arms and sub frame bushings. Keep in mind these will increase stiffness and you will feel more vibrations in the car. They will also increase handling and power transfer to the ground.

On a budget first thing is first, the broke junk.... Nuff said! Second after that would be motor mounts (HSIOW!) 3rd and 4th are front and rear stuff. The steering stuff is last in my book(file the K member under steering), Tie Rod boots? Seriously?!?

@fwbt: That was my first thought. Lets worry about getting the car running first before planning the whole make over.

Im still trying to get my baby running right :(

It sucks being broke.

At this point, Ill shave my head for some parts haha :p

I mean i have to get this car running good for one day ill gift it to my son :rocks:

Nikki Osiris :) :hellyeah:

i just bought a 91 gsx. the car was converted to naturaly aspirated because the turbo went out. i will be converting it back to a turbo. i just need to know how hard that will be and what is the best turbo to use for the car, and what other parts do i need to put on it to run the turbo again.

Should be too hard, Wiring should all be there, I have all the stock intercooler and piping if you need it for a price. Manifold, turbo, Post pictures of the engine bay, N/T AWD interesting...

^^^^ Easiest? no. Nate had a Oem bushing out in like 10 minutes. I watched him do it. Most fun? Oh Hell YEAH!

For the PITA ones... Fire and a hacksaw! I'm not subtle by any means, nor do I care for finesse too much.
Oh and I have a press too for that just in case option

Well found out my gsx really isn't a gsx any more the turbo and awd was taken out. So what do I got to do to take it back to a gsx or is it not even worth it

I know we have been in contact, but it is a lot to make it turbo, even more for awd, talking transmission, transfer case, rear subframe. diff, cv shafts etc, and based on the VIN it was never a turbo, he is trying to trick you. Without the hump there I haven't really seen someone convert their car to AWD on a 1g.

Read here for the turbo swap: Nate chime in if you have another write up. (I'll read in more detail too, to see if I can help you out)

I haven't bought it yet I was going to but the car wasn't ready when I went. I ran the vin and it says it is a 1990 gs
