I think we have always decided in the past that Sundays work best for everyone. We will need some place with SHADE now that it's hot.

I am planning on going over to EP this summer to meet a few of you soon. Most likely the first or second week in July.... So yea, please pick a spot with some shade. Every summer I am reminded I should have moved to Alaska... The reasoning?

You can always put on more clothes if it is cold outside... There is only so much you can take off without being arrested when it is hot, and if that still isn't comfortable, you are screwed. :/

Oh no!!!! How many miles had it been since the last belt change? I bought my DSM with a snapped belt originally so I know that headache.

@Nate i don't think it had ever been changed my car has 115k miles and funny thing is i just finished changing ac and alt belt. My timing was next!

@Alan thanks man for sure i will need some help so i will let you know since I've never replaced one.

And sorry for not quoting I'm on my cell but I'm looking to get another DSM this weekend. Either a 2g gs-t spyder or a 2g gsx. I'm hoping i can get either or but really hoping for the gsx.

That sounds about right. When I bought mine with a snapped belt it had 114,xxx on the odometer. Its a time bomb.

I'm back! I just got back a few days ago.

Just got back myself. Trying to get motivated to finish up the Talon and get it out to the track. What is the season down at the El paso drag, what month are they open till? I have a couple more trips planned to Japan this year. So hopefully I will get motivated and get the car ran.

Welcome back! How's the baby? I was overseas myself for a few weeks but in the UK. They stay open until November but it starts getting cold out there in October since they insist on only being open at night.

I'm trying to decide what direction to take my DSM in at the moment. I was keeping it balanced for street, drag, and autox but I bought an Evo so now the street and autox are covered with that. That frees my DSM up for drag racing but I don't know if I want to strip it (cut out the trunk, lexan, bumper exit exhaust, fuel cell, heater, etc)and keep playing with the 14b or just throw on something bigger (20g, hx35, etc). Either way I will be working on traction. I'd like to swap to a full slick on a 13 inch rim as opposed to my 16" drag radials. I would also like to get some custom made traction bars since there isn't much available for the FWD DSMs.

Just do it in the evening... I have drop off my wife in Lubbock at the airport that morning, so it'll be a long day of driving back and forth. I do want to come out though, so let's get a spot located so someone can tell me where to tell my GPS to direct me to.
