Ill torque it. I did the shove a prybar in the motor and turn it till it slips out haha. Shouldbe easy now that its hooked up to the tranny

i blew my turbo i bought it for $60 about 3-4 months ago and aparently the nut of on the turbine came off and blew up, seals were going out anyways i should be getting my rebuild kit before friday and go to the track next sunday ....i did horrible with the slicks i just didnt know how to use them Sergio help alot but at the 3rd pass i was just mad i did between 16's to 17's on the slick and i did 14.9 at 103 but the car was blowing smoke by then and on crappy tires and on a blown turbo

At least it wan't too bad. A cheap used turbo is an easy fix. What pressure were you running in the slicks? I've never used slicks either so I'm sure I'll have to adjust to them too when I finally get a set. I'm hoping to be ready by this weekend too but I just ran into an issue with the stock diff bearings not being the same size as the Quaife. I hope it won't delay me much.

I'm midway though my LSD install, my trans is wide open and the stock diff is out. I should be ready for the drag strip by next weekend!

Well it turns out that the stock differential bearings (MD710663) that I had ordered don't work on the Quaife, at least when installed in a FWD. I had to order some custom bearings from ShepTrans which should be here on Tuesday. So no drag strip (or anything else) for me this weekend.

Been trying to drill out my 4 broken bolts in my 14b's hotside, one on the turbo to mani flange, and 3 on the turbo to o2 flange. So far i got 2 bolts half way drilled through. Man its so mundane. Makes me want to find a spare hotside. Anyone have one for cheap, or even a drill press i could go borrow if i bring my own drill bits.

I did mine lasy month went through like 15 drill bits to get them all out. Used a ton of copper antiseize and they are stuck again. Ima just leave it connected. Anyway to advoid it?

I have a spare 7cm one at the house, the only thing with it is it needs a kingsert put in it, i have all the stuff to do it but the tap to put it in, PM me with an offer i can't refuse...

Its starts but it won't idle without us giving it gas. We still need to get a BOV that can be recirculate (it has a turbo xs bov), figure out the all the vaccums, adjust timing. Other than that I don't know what makes the car start then die. We hadn't had any time to work on it lately. Anyone has any ideas on what else to check. It has fuel and spark.

I told Luis you guys need to wire that 02 senser in and make sure there are no vacuum leaks first. Is the CAS in right and in the middle? Also he said it had been sitting for almost a year so the fuel filter could be gunked up and some fresh gas wouldn't hurt anything. I upgraded to a Tial 50mm BOV so I have my old crushed 1g. Also I had sold Matt my sidemount hard UICP with a 1g flange, I know he was trying to sell it a few months back, you might want to check with him.

well im going tomorrow to the track because theirs an event on the 10th so track wont be open on the 11th...and i dont want to wait 2 weeks

Trip to alb is still up in the air.

Totaled my red car early friday morning, driving across trans mt. Was nodding off alot, Driving when your dead tired is worse than when your driving under the influence.

Front end is done, and my driver side is pushed over about 2 inches. floor pans bent. Guess i hit the guard rail head on, spun, and slammed my driver side into the rest of the rail

So since friday after i got the car towed home, been busy busy busy. Had to cut the engine out of the bay, super depressing. Got the engine out that same day. Saturday went to work getting my spare fwd shell that i had at my grandmas into a rolling chassis again.

Sunday morning, changed stuff around on my engine. had to add the power steering brackets, a/c compressor and brackets, down grade to 240 injectors since i didnt want to swap my exhuast, wideband, or safc over. Had to switch out the transmission, and switched out my stock flywheel for my fidanza one, to make up for the added rotational mass form the p/s and a/c. Replaced the driver side mount on the block because it broke in half. Reinstalled shifter assembly and cables, clutch slave and master, a rear brake caliper into the 94 shell. pulled out the axles, and put in different ones. Then dropped the engine/'tranny in and called it a day at around 6.

Today finished it up. Put in the radiator. fixed some of the wiring, added the ecu. Swapped the dash from my red one into this one, had to swap over all the vent ducting from the black ones dash to my red ones dash, since it was stripped completely, and swapped the stickers and plates from my red one to the black on.(screw paying for registration and inspection and all that) Switched back to the normal 1gb tail lights. Need to hit up the junkyard for a few minor parts. But now i just need transmission fluid so i can fire her up and be on my way.
