well some can go on sunday so we decided to go tomorrow as in today LOL i just finished putting whole interior back in... all body panels are on just need to camber it finish putting the exhaust and radiator but if you still wanna go tomorrow text me (915)346-8737 or anyone that is down to go...You should go nathan so we can run them

I wish I could but i'm going to be out of state. I won't be back until after attending the DSM shootout in Norwalk!!!!! I won't be racing as my car will still be here but I am freaking stoaked! This will be my third Buschur DSM/EVO shootout.

Me and my friend from Albuquerque have been talking about trying to get an ept/alb DSM meet going. Either find a middle point to meet up at, or one of us could host. Whats your guys thoughts? Would anyone be interested?

So if its a halfway meet, it would either be TorC, or elephant butte( their suggestion).

I was thinking if we did set this up, earliest we would do it is October, or later. Any thoughts on dates?

Ok guys I need some help real quick I'm gonna be getting a u pipe made for my intercooler since I still have the t25 . My question is should I get the pipe made at 2 inches or 2 1/2 since thats what size the rest of the intercooler piping is. I kinda ghetto rigged my piping and it hangs underneath the crossmember and scrapes alot

I think I'm just going to go with 2.25in

I know you said you needed help ASAP but I have been out of state and got behind on here. The J-pipe on my VRSF kit is 2" to match the 14b's outlet and then the rest is 2.5". I would get whatever size matches up with the turbo's outlet.

Maybe next year my 1.8 will be ready, so i can go and turn some heads.

And turn heads you would. People would be like, "A 1.8 with a SMIM?!?!" Haha. Do it!

Its cool but yeah i ended up gettin two inch pipe and today i removed my bumper and found that the bolts that mount the FMIC to the 2g fog light mounting holes broke while still threaded in the hole. So my intercooler right now is being held up my zip ties, its pretty sturdy though
 
I did last week for a week and the crank bolt vibrated out and slipped timing on the freeway. Ima have it all back together tommorrow and ill let you know.

Vibrated out? That sucker is supposed to be torqued to 90 ft. lbs. If you need a hand (or a torque wrench ;) ) I'm back in town and off on Thursday and Friday.
 
it was great to see lil tony racing on sunday..to bad he hurt his car. there was a sweet panda tsi with no bumper.

What happened to his car? How did he do with the slicks?

I'm midway though my LSD install, my trans is wide open and the stock diff is out. I should be ready for the drag strip by next weekend!

A SMIM and a 14b!

I did last week for a week and the crank bolt vibrated out and slipped timing on the freeway. Ima have it all back together tommorrow and ill let you know.
Always, always always use red loctite on that bolt!

i blew my turbo i bought it for $60 about 3-4 months ago and aparently the nut of on the turbine came off and blew up, seals were going out anyways i should be getting my rebuild kit before friday and go to the track next sunday :D ....i did horrible with the slicks i just didnt know how to use them Sergio help alot but at the 3rd pass i was just mad i did between 16's to 17's on the slick and i did 14.9 at 103 but the car was blowing smoke by then and on crappy tires and on a blown turbo :sneaky:

(AWD dosn't have that problem):thumb:
