i have a 1g talon awd and it has eibach pro kits on it as well as kyb agx 4 ways on the front and 8 ways on the rear...i have tried adjusting it up and down the number line it i can t get it to ride good at all...it rides like shit, either its to hard and makes harsh noises when you hit a bump or its too soft and the front end floats around (goes up and down after hitting a bump) i was thinking maybe the springs are just worn out? how long do eibachs last? when do you know they need to be replaced? i ve had this car about 1mth now and have tried changing the bump stops and adjusting the shocks and struts..cant seem to get it to ride good at all....any ideas guys on possible what might be wrong ? i know the kyb agx's only have about 5k miles on them, so i dont think its them....thanks for any of your help!!!

it's the shocks that control the springs. AGX's are known to be stiff

Yeah, my buddy Dale (fertez_turbo) had those shocks on his 1G and they bottomed out really easy. He was using the Sportlines though. His was a rough ride and they also made harsh noises when he hit bumps. It's the shocks..... If you want something a little more stock-feeling, try Tokico adjustables.

Welcome to the joys of shocks that adjust compression and rebound at the same time. You turn up the shocks to add rebound (to keep the car from floating) and you also get more compression (so it rides like crap).

The solution is not another set of Japanese shocks that do the same (such as Tokikos); the solution is a shock that allows you to turn up the rebound while not turning up the compression (such as Konis).

I have the Eibach Pro Kit with the AGX's.....don't have this problem at all? Maybe it's different for 1g's?

On 1g's atleast, you have to make sure with AGX's and the Prokit (and any other springs really), that you cut your bumpstops, otherwise you're going to get a very bad ride. But there are lots of people that use the prokit/agx combo on 1g's without any issues at all.
