EDM mirrors that power fold

So I know everything about EDM parts are beat to death. Despite all of this I still have a question about the mirrors. I know they fold (duh) but I've read about them having a power folding mirrors. Not that the movement of the mirrors are power but that you can hit a button and the mirrors will fold in and out. I've read that they were only put on the few DSMs destined for Japan. Out of all the threads I've read, I haven't seen anyone actually say anything about getting them, installing them, or using them. Just looking around the interior of my car, I don't see anywhere where a button could go except the third mystery slot under the hazards and rear defrost buttons. So I just want to know if they exist? If so, where could I find some? On a different note, if I bought regular folding mirrors, would it be possible to have a shop install a custom system to fold the mirrors automatically? If this has already been answered I apologize.

The set I had on my spyder we're not power folding. But the ones on my evo 3 are. They have a extra motor in them.

So could you swap evo mirrors? Or just the motors?

you have to get the motors from the power folding ones.

evo3 were JDM only, so had power folding off the factory [except the RS models].

The Evo 3 mirrors do not bolt on. Tryed it since I sold my edm mirrors years ago. Also all evo 1-3 mirrors are for rhd cars.

the mirrors are the same as what you have.

the motors are the killers...

housings, whether LHD, RHD...doesn't matter. It's the base that bolts on to the door frame that determines LHD from RHD...

So does it matter which evo I get the mirrors from (I-X) as far as they're JDM?

You can take the mirrors from the galant ea0 v6. They will fit with some little modifications and are available as lhd

No they won't I have a eclipse and galant with folding mirrors they don't fit believe me
