So I recently did a complete teardown and build, but I'm still having a problem with random high idle. This happened before the build on the English tune so I am leaning against vacuum Leaks etc as I've completely redone the vacuum system with steel braided surround vacuum hose and deleted the agr stuff.
Here's the problem:
Randomly (meaning irrelevant to water temp, air temp, drive time, gear, speed, vacuum/boost) My car will randomly idle at around 2k.... I haven't found any sure patterns... Other than this thought... It's as if after driving on the freeway at 3k for a while, my ecu decides "this must be where he wants his idle" then changes it to that. And after traffic jams cruising in first gear for a half hour at 4th it decides "we've been at 750rpm, that must be where it should idle"
Am I out of my gourd or is this a possibility? Ecmlink v3 BTW.
The throttle cable doesn't stick, cruise control doedoesn't work but that's it (didn't work last year either.)
