ECU issue

Hey guys, I got a quick question for you smart techs out there. I have a 92 blue talon awd with an AGP L2r turbo, Tial 44mm external wastegate, FMIC, and an eprom ecu set up for 850cc FIC injectors and also set up for VPC with a 550 chip. I set everything up correctly and my car will start right up, then about 5 minutes into it, it dies. I checked my brand new plugs and they are carbon fouled. I know that i'm running rich, do I need a standalone even though I have an ecu set up for the exact specs that I have. Any answers will be helpful...

I don't know about the tuning aspects as I'm pretty new to modding DSM's, but I do happen to know cars pretty well

When you start the car initially, I'm assuming it's cold? If that's the case, you probably have something overheating. Will it restart immediately or do you have to let it cool down? Primary suspect right away would be a coilpack on it's way out.

Unfortionately you need to determine what is dying first. Remember, even with all of the electronics in the world, a motor still needs three things to run; air, fuel, and spark. So what don't you have? Lack of spark but fuel pressure and injector pulse would point to a coilpack. Loosing injector pulse and spark at the same time would probably indicate an ECM.

If you can, please be a little more specific on what exactly happens the moment it dies.

Edit, I didn't notice in your first post that you're getting carbon fouling. When the motor dies, are the plugs wet if you take them out??? Also, black plugs can also be oil fouling, and we all know DSM's like to drink oil
