I was wondering what everyones thoughts where say a mild mod (my car mods in profile) gst vs a neon srt-4?

you really don't have enough mods, not to mention the lack a LSD, you'll prob lose to an SRT-4. Unless the driver is less coordinated than a cat who had it's whiskers cut off.

With the T25, I was pushing 19psi and was beating an SRT up until the end of 3rd. They have a good amount of torque and it shows in the upper gears.

You will not beat an SRT-4 without a upgraded turbo that will flow more than 250cfm. Get yourself a cheap 14b and support it, you will then have a nice contest on your hands.

i am running 17 psi now on the t25 idk if thta would do it since it is only a t25.

I would venture to say I had around 210-220 whp from the numbers that have been thrown around the site and all. Maybe end of third was drastic, I would say more toward the later end of third. Around 5.5k right were the T25 falls on its face. The factor of me "knowing my car" and that guys SRT-4 was "brand new" probly played in my advantage.

people fail to realize that a stock srt-4 can range from 225hp to over 300hp and its still considered stock. from the factory you can get bigger injectors, tuned computer and a bunch of other goodies. i ran a 'stock' one about two weeks ago, i had an electronic boost controller and walbro fuel pump at the time, i was running 22lbs and was unable to pull away from him, we started in first and ran half way through 4th gear. just watch out for when the owner says is stock. you can look but can never tell

with all my mods i can take them until 3rd then the T-25 just doesnt pull as hard this is against a Mopar Stage 1. It would be VERY hard to beat one with a T-25 especially without a LSD BUT with a minor turbo upgrade T-28/14B with supporting mods. You will walk on them bad unless they have the mopar stage 2 or 3

A modified FWD SRT4 will out run a AWD EVO from a roll.

Got anyone to host a video? I'll show you what my 1G FWD did with an SRT4 at 10psi on a 14b w/ a passenger thats aboue 225., I pulled a 2.5 60foot without doing a burn out so i'm happy. i ran a 15.02@92 weather was like 45 with 15-25mph wind at our face.

With my mods minus fuel pump, glass pack, b16g, fpr I raced a srt4, I beat him really badlly then at about 80mph he blew by me. The have awsome top end so no you will most definatly lose.

if you ran a 15.02 you didnt do much against the SRT, i pulled 13.9's@100 when i bone stock.

SRT4's are fast stock, and being FWD they have good top end, your going to need a turbo upgrade to beat one, the T25 will not help you there.

The SRT4 i raced couldn't drive to good. . Ive only raced 2, and from what i saw they aren't that great till they get into 3rd gear. But then agian both drivers that i raced really weren't that talented. The car maybe fast, but it has to be driven right.

You will get slaughtered. My brother has a SRT-4 w/o the LSD and he runs a 14.1 stock...Now for a FWD eclipse to hit 13's you will need alot more mods than what you have. I'm @ 13.9 and I have a 16G FMIC and supporting mods. Of course I'm a Spyder weighing 3100, but you are over 2900 yourself. 200 pounds equal about 2 tenths of a sec in the 1320 so do the math...Good luck anyway.

Hey Dan you know what I have in my Spyder and the SRT-4 absoulutely destroys me in 3rd gear. They aren't a joke. My brothers SRT-4 now has a 3' cat back, K&N CAI and the Stage 1. He now pulls 13.2 @ 111. His car literally screams up top. So no I disagree a minot upgrade will not do the trick. Better go EVO B 16G on 550's with the boost set to 19psi if you wanna win

SRT-4'S are capable of high 12s with drag radials and the Mopar Stage 1 upgrade, A buddy of mine ran a 13.3 109mph on street tires, 12.8 110mph with drag radials, on his SRT-4.

Yeah a b16g or more will be needed to beat em. Right now untuned a stocker srt wouldnt keep up on the highway against me trust me. a stage 1 would be pretty good race but I would doubt him walking me pretty good. With fmic 19psi like they have and some injectors....I wouldnt doubt walking stage 2 all day long....

factor in that they have a 16g, bigger injectors, fmic, and less weight. you have some hurdles but it can be done.
