I just bought a 2g low Eclipse spoiler and it looks like maybe the wiring was cut. I don't know if it was cut and tucked back in the wire loom or if it's alright. I bought it on craigslist for a steal so I can't complain too much though. Does anyone have a picture of how a proper light cord should look coming out of the spoiler? I'll snap a pic once I get a chance. Also, the paint is bad. I'll post up some pics and it would be great if someone could tell me whether it's just oxidation or if it needs repainted. Thanks guys.

well i really hope you are talking about an RS wing or ill feel dumb but heres the pic anyways hope it helps.

RS/GS Wings have the wire inside of the wing, it would be kinda hard to tuck it all inside the wing like you think. Unscrew the light and check the wireing.

Yes I'm referring to a GS/RS wing. I think mine was cut. It looks like yours only no connector and about 3 inches less of wiring. Anyone know how I could fix that? I'll try to get pics soon.

Junkyards around where I live don't have any 2G's. Where could I get that connector and some wiring to splice it all together?

Just wire it back in..Or get the connector, but wiring it would be simpler...Or don't use a lit spoiler..

So you're saying I can just use the wire from the spoiler and somehow hook it to the car's wiring without a connector? I really don't know. I would think so, but I am horrible when it comes to anything electrical. How would I do this?

You could either splice it or not even worry about the light LOL. This is where you deside if you want the spoiler or not.

Wingless is tempting, but splicing would be easier. Yes, I'll keep it. I've just got to respray it first.

If you really want to go to your local Mitsubishi and get the connector for the brake light. I had to do this for my headlight and it was only $10 total. That way if later on down the road you wanna take the wig off all you have to do is unclip the connector and tuck it away.
