Under normal driving conditions no you won't see this probably most of your life. Is it possible? Yes. Under normal driving conditions with a caliper that's dragging on a long drive across Nevada and an inferior product could yield the results in the video.

Do you really think that the advanced/autozone/napa part stores sell anything better than ebay stuff. NO they sell crap from mexico that was assembled by a 5 yr old. I don't see ebay stuff being any worse, now i'm not saying i'd run them on my race car but for a daily driver the ebay slotted/drilled stuff is just as good as autozone crap. I've used brakemotive several times on my daily beater stuff and had no trouble, as i said earlier they are the same as powerstop. Example my wifes 08 saturn aura, at advance, rotors and pads are 270, now brakemotive sells drilled and slotted with brake pads for 170, and it's better than the stuff i've put on it before from autozone.

^^^^ as he said exactly, a track car i would certainly spend the bucks but for the other 99% of us on the street, those ebay rotors are just fine. And to any that oppose have you run these and had a problem? If not then how do you know they are any worse that what you do run?

Yeah parts stores can sell crap. That's why they have different levels. You can get the lowest level which is no better than ebay junk. But if you get their top line stuff, It is a lot better than ebay shit. I use high end parts store brakes on my DD's and dont have any problems with them. But read the reviews. Ebab brakes are generally crap. Especially the drilled/slotted ones (as pictured above).

What brand are your top of the line brake rotors an pads u got from autozone? I haven't bought anything from the parts stores I would call quality. They just fit the bill for the time being.

That's because you aren't going to the right store. Go to oreilly auto parts and buy the Wagner rotors.

I towing up to 15k with my cummins and run eBay drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic autozone pads and have no issues with the rotors. I actually had a rear brake line close up and had to tow a 10k lb load with just front brakes across a few states and I could see blue on the rotors from heat in the hills and never felt any brake fade or see and cracks around the drilled holes. Again proof enuff for me that the Evo brakes on my little 3k lb gsx will be fine with eBay rotors

I do use Oreily's when i have to use crappy part store parts. But if you look at your wagner rotors they are cast in china. Yes wagner is an american company but almost every rotor they sell is cast in china. As well as most of their pads. If you look on the side of the box it will tell you what country it was made in. Cast in china=might be good or might be crap. The brakemotive seller is in America and machines all rotors here in America. Now that's not to say the the original casting isn't cast in china and he just does final machining here. I'm just trying to let some people know i have first hand experience with brakemotive and with wagner and i'd take the brakemotive everyday, i'm not saying wagner is a bad product but for less money i can get a drilled and slotted rotor and powerstop brake pads and they work great.

You get what you pay for, drilled rotors causes cracks down along the line even more so with cheap rotors like the picture posted by one of the members. I got a set of dimpled and slotted rotors form EBC and saved myself all of the worries that cheap rotors has to offer, when it comes to brakes the last thing that comes to mind is being cheap, remember its your safety on the line. here is a link look for coupons online, i think i saved like $140 with them , good luck dude.

Another thing to note is that you won't be able to get a drilled or slotted rotor turned when you go to install new brake pads.
