So, I have tracked down some issues with my car only building 5 pounds of boost. It was all thanks to this retarded ass ebay manifold that was on the car when I got it, the individuals that installed it, and whoever welded it.
This is the manifold.
<a href="http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/?action=view&current=DSC03722.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/DSC03722.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
When the people put the manifold on the car they only tightened the manifold to turbo bolts finger tight. So, there was a massive leak there, and then they used two gaskets from the o2 to the downpipe. So pretty much a crappy install from the get go.
I guess after a while of running it it began to crack where the pipes meet the flange. Which resulted in someone trying to weld the manifold back together while it was on car. Results:
<a href="http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/?action=view&current=DSC03719.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/DSC03719.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/?action=view&current=DSC03717.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/DSC03717.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
<a href="http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/?action=view&current=DSC03716.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/DSC03716.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
And from the inside:
<a href="http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/?action=view&current=DSC03720.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab162/rlacasse1/93%20Talon/DSC03720.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
The entire weld was about as solid as swiss cheese. Also, since it was on the car when they welded it, some of the weld got into the bolt heads. That kind of made it a b!tch to get off.
On the bright side, here's my new valve cover. Still needs a little cleaning.

It came off a Hyundai. I am going to use the studs that are used on the Hyundai as well. And the Hyundai valve cover gasket since the studs are larger in diameter than the bolts that hold on the original valve cover gasket.

Anyways, yeah, both a b!tching thread and a informational thread.
This is the manifold.
