I was thinking about investing in this cat-back and downpipe. Take a look and tell me what you think?

I know alot of people running them with great results, if your on a budget its the way to go

That's the exact same setup I will be running on my car. I'd say, go for it. Exhaust is just bent tubing, look for the correct type of bends (Mandrel) and correct size (2.5-3.0") and you're good to go.

Go with the 2G short downpipe for 230, then Id do my own 3 in piping behind the cat for about 50, then a magnaflow muffler to finish it out.

You're gonna have to do a bit of welding and bending (you can pay someone to do it for fairly cheap - like a local community college), but this will save you some money. I know you're thinking "no it wont". Think about it this way...for the entire catback, you'd be paying 250 with shipping. I have that exact same downpipe.. Works great, also for those that dont already know, its the same thing as a Megan Downpipe. They are made by the same company and sold under different names. Its like another guy said, piping is piping. If you are on a budget its the way to go.

Dam you hit the nail on that question. Im running the same exhaust with a tubular o2. I even posted a video of me reving it on street fire. You listen to it and tell me if it doesnt kick a$$.

If any one has any pictures of any cars (gsx/GST) with this exhaust system installed please let me know looks like a grate deal, i was thinking of dropping about 600$ on a new exhaust but hell if i can get this one for less then half the price then im sold, i dont want anything that will get the cops looking at me tho, i might paint it black so make it look stock. i dont know i need to see some pictuers.

I had the TSUDO catback on my 97GST. It sounds great and there's a definete hp gain but it's not a full 3" catback. Most of the piping is 3" but the muffler inlet is 2.5" with a 4.5" outlet.

From 1-10 I'd rate it a 9 It's definetly a good buy

The only thing I didnt like was the rear section of the exhaust goes OVER the rear end. Its great if your lowered cars, but mine SOMETIMES hits and makes a ting sound. Its took less time to put it in then to take the old exhaust out. I love it and its not to loud if your worried about cops. I measured the smallest part and its 2 5/8. Dam good enough for me.

It will bolt right up, that last picture is where it necks down to fit onto the stock cat outlet.

Yeah, I took it off immediately after installing it while the car was still on the lift. Those pics are the first night I got it and was just piecing it together on the dining room carpet.
