I had helluva time putting it on and then to add to the disappointments there is a section INSIDE the muffler right at where the tip is that necks down or reduces. Well today I set out to remove that reducer, I need to get as much flow as I can since I am using the stock downpipe and cat. Its probably better off if I just run the midsection only but anyway I used a cutting wheel to cut the reducer out. It was one of those heavy duty dremel cutting wheels also had to go through two of them. I couldn't use the one on my compressor because it was too big >.< Anyway I cut off the smallest section I probably could have saved myself some time and taken a bigger chunk. But here is the actual measurement for the reducer.

2.225 inches :( We can say about 2.25 about the same as stock! So the main piping goes from 3 inch all the way down to 2.25 inches! Thats total weaksauce why would they put something in there like that!? WTF If I wanted to restrict my exhaust I would put that silencer they included with it.

There was still more meat to cut until I got to the muffler guts. So I cut a second section out. This opened it up to 2.66"

Before and After pictures I also ported it out a little bit with the grinder to get every little bit I could:

I had a costco soda cup lying around and found a way I could measure the diameter of the hole now. I stuck the cup into the muffler until it touched the hole and spun it around so it made marks on the cup and I measure the diameter where the marks were.

It came out to about 2.8" which is MUCH better than before I can be happy with that.

So in the end I got a nice catback system with SS piping, mandrel bends, and now nearly 3" piping to the cat. Sound great too but I don't think it was worth it in the end. So watch out there's catbacks like this one floating around on eBay you've been warned.
