Okay okay, before anyone says anything about me using the search button or tell me ebay turbo is junk, please dont say anything at all :)

Let me start off by saying that i purchased a big 16g turbo kit from godspeed. Included with the turbo is the big 16g turbo, all required gaskets, hardware, a water line, and a new oil return line.

My question is, do you guys think it is better to go to autozone or napa and pick up some new fittings for the oil/water line instead of reusing the original ones from my 11 year old factory t-25 turbo? I know that the turbo has a water supply line, return line, along with a oil supply line, and then the flex pipe that goes to the oil pan. I have read a ton of information regarding the 16g install and i know you do reuse one of the water lines(not sure if it is return or supply) and also one of the oil lines. Could someone post pictures of how they ran their water/oil lines on a ebay 16g setup? I haven't been able to find a good picture of what im looking for. Here is a picture of the turbo kit im receiving on wednesday, along with the link.

Use the oil lines given in that kit with the turbo; use your OEM T25 water lines and banjo bolts.

Alright, so i will be replacing the oil return line, and what is that black line that is also supplied with the kit? Is that the oil supply line? I am actually very mechaniclly inclined, i just haven't taken off my turbo yet too see what lines are what.

I think that oil supply line is to feed from the head, the bolt on the left side of the head as your looking at it in the car. the supply bolt on the turbo is a different size than your t25(and be sure to prime that turbo with oil-biggest killer of those turbo's) and be sure to adjust the wastegate. And be advised that the bolts in some of those kits are known to be of crappy quality and fitment.

yes i have heard how sometimes the bolts are not the proper sizes and the waste gate is set to 20psi and what not.

Someone correct me if i am wrong but as far as parts ID goes from that picture(left to right)
J-Pipe, Oil return line, oil supply line, b-16g turbo. The 3 sets of bolts/studs from top to bottom. 2 allen head bolts for the oil return pipe, 2x banjo bolts for OIL line?, 4x o2 housing studs. The other set of bolts on the right side are, 4x turbo to manifold bolts with gold nuts. not sure what that one srew above the nuts is for but im sure it serves some purpose. As far as the gaskets go, it looks like there is a j-pipe gasket, oil return gasket, o2 housing gasket and downpipe gasket.

Your turbo-manifold bolts don't need nuts on the end of them, they thread into the turbo exhaust housing (or should anyway.) I can't tell from the picture, but they might be funny colored crush washers for the oil feed (I don't see them in the bag)

The wastegate actuator may be a 20psi'er but more likley a 1 bar. the problem i've seen that causes creep on those turbo's is the wastegate rod is too long and doesnt let the flapper open far enough and you end up with a creepy problem. you should be able to remove and install the rod on the flapper arm with just a little bit of tension to hold the flapper closed but to still have full travel to open as far as it can to let the wastegate do it's job.
sounds like you have a handle on the parts list, make sure you check those bolts before you have to make a mad dash to the hardware store in the middle of your install(dont ask).

artic i am talking about the 4 long bolts that go up through the turbo and come out the top of the manifold, and the 4 nuts hold the turbo to the manifold.

I know what you are talking about, but stock from the factory, 2g's have 3 bolts that go down through the manifold and screw into the turbo housing, and one stud that comes up from the exhaust housing, and gets a nut on top of the manifold.

haha gamma, i can definetly relate to that :)

As far as the waste gate goes, it says it is set to .8 Bar so 11.76psi. I know how to test to see if the waste gate opens properly so i am not worried about that part. The only thing that may have my questioning what i am doing is making sure i correctly configure the water supply/return line.

Oh yea artic, sorry about that, so thats why i was kind of scratching my head looking at my turbo to manifold bolts...I thought the kid before me who had it was just a dumb dumb and rigged that up

Is there any way to determine which water port is for supply and which port is for return? What would happen if you ran them mixed out? Would it cause the turbo any harm?

Received my 16g turbo w/ install kit today! here are some pictures of what i got for 280 shipped. Also, someone let me know if i am going to need 2 couplers...I am pretty sure i will but someone just verify, thanks :)
