just to make sure does an 92 AT AWD ECU would work on a 94 Manual??? "stock" chip.

The A/T DSM's in those years had smaller injectors which means your A/F ratios would be off. 390cc/min Vs. 450cc/min injectors in M/T cars.

Well the transmission itself has nothing to do with the ecu. That is solely controlled by the TCU so in this matter you would be able to drive the car. I just wouldnt do it unless you had some way of controlling the A/F ratios. Its one thing to run rich but to run lean is

yeah i know so by shutting off within 7 seconds, would be the cause of bad capasitors?

It could be bad capacitors but if it were (at least in my experience) your car would not even start. Have you tried opening the ECM up and looking for any evidence of leaky capacitors?

well the thing is that i sold this ecu, to someone on other forum, it was on a running car, till it was quater panel wreck. so we decided to part it out. it was a 92 AWD A/T ecu.

well the guy who bought din't really care, if it was A/T or not, Ohh yeah it was socketed and running stage 3 keydiver. again it was running great till ^^^. so we remove chip and installed stock chip back on.

anyways guys pm's me telling me ECU/ car runs for about 7 seconds and then it shuts off..
