eagle talon to eclipse bumper conversion

This last year I pulled a bumper from an eclipse at a salvage yard. When i installed it i had to extend the corners of the back frame with L brackets where the tail lights wrap around the car so that the eclipse bumper would set on it correctly.The back side looks good at the moment but where the corners of the bumper meet up with the side panels of the car theres a slight gap that i couldn't get flush with the the rest of the car. (can see in pic)

Is there a better/different way to make the conversion? Or some type of kit you can buy to do so to make it look better? Any suggestions or tips would help.

you will want to drill and re-weld and 3 brackets on the car. If you cant weld you could bolt or rivet them on. You will want to do the reverse of what I did to make my spyder a 2gb talon

dont know why you want to make your talon a eclipse. Talons look alot better just get 2gb talon front and rear bumpers

^^ Agree! I've owned a 2g Talon and 2g Eclipse- Honestly? I think the 2gb Talon's are the best looking DSM's. I dig that Spyder Talon photo man! That's sick!

yea i just took like 2"w X 3"l flat pieces of metal and bent them to the right shape to raise the talons back line up a little bit. It just seems kind of ghetto. I didnt know if they made anything to do it the "right" way ha.

2gb talon front 2gb eclipse rear. best combo. i'm wanting to convert my eclipse to talon rear end. just gotta move the brackets up from talon. drill out the welds and move them up. weld them back up
