I know that there are lot of factors when considering rod strength, like hp vs. rpm, and detonation. I'm basicly wondering if anyone knows or perhaps has found the limit of the Eagle H-beam rods.

I have a 2.3 with Eagle rods, JE pistons, o-ringed block, 1g P&P head, 1mm O\S valves, Crower Stage III's and a FP 3065. After speaking to FP they have told me that I have enough mods to get over 600whp out of the old girl. My main concern is that the rods will not be able to handle the power that I can make.

Does anyone know??

It's all about tuning.

On a good tune and 'well' built engine - you're golden.

Hope fully with the AEM EMS I should have no problem with a tune. One thing I forgot to mention is I have a nitrous kit and was going to put a 50-75 shot on it....for the "just in case" situation.
