E16G in B16G ex. housing?

So I am trying to match an E16G CHRA that I got with a trashed housing up to a mystery housing from a trashed "BigT28Killer". I believe this is a B16G housing.

The E16G turbine is slightly larger and scrapes with the B16G housing.

My question is, can I just take my die grinder and sand off a small amount from this housing until the E16G turbine fits? Being careful not to take off too much of course.

That the housing was not designed for a TD05 turbine wheel, thus it would not be the same housing as the B16g housing.

Big T28 killer:

Uses T-28 (T-25) turbine housing
With stage II turbine
Larger compressor housing (about the size of a TD05 housing)
Big16G compressor wheel

I would get a TD05 designed turbine housing for the MHI CHRA. You can find them on the classfied ads here, there are plenty.

Ah damn, I thought it was a 16g turbine in it. The housing from the T28 is a mistu housing though, it has their logo on it.

I would post a picture so we can determine what housing it is. I say its not a TD05 housing because of the data that i researched, but hell, DSMs are getting old and not everything on them is stock nor stock like replacements.
