G'day.

Finally have finished my VR4 rally car rebuild. Slight crack in the dump pipe to be welded yet.

175.4kw at the wheels and 325nm torque. The Cyclone manifold has been setup to work, and it does the job.

Boost peaks at 15 psi and then drops down to 12 while the power is still building to peak at 5800rpm. I guess the increased air speed from closing the long runners is what does the trick.

Very happy chappy. :thumb:

I ran an Autocross, 10th outright and eighth in Class, excellent smooth power delivery.

I will be rallying on November 23rd and I will post after the event about how it goes in a rally.

Cheers

Ross.

Very nice! Pictures and a mods list?

Mahle forged pistons, Manley Rods and crank from realstreetperformance.
16g Turbo 3" pipe from turbo outlet to rear, Evo1 Front brakes, standard rear brakes with Pagid pads. Autronic SMC with the Cyclone intake manifold controlled by the computer. Flapper closes at 4200rpm.
Cheers
Ross
I have video in a post up the page a bit, "Rally footage from Qld, Australia.":applause:
