I asked albert to make the intake 2 pieces so that I could put my filter back under the hood during rainy season. So far every thing looks really nice, hope to have it installed in the next week or 2 with full review.

wow, that looks really nice.

get pics of the install and finished pics. all those perfect curves look like its going to flow pretty nicely also.

Damn Albert does nice work. I can't wait until my fluids class next semester so I can get into the theory and number cruching in relation to how the cast endtanks have better flow characteristics than the fabricated endtanks. I wish Albert had a 1G intercooler kit.

wow god those things are gorgeous...I wish I wasnt in college....and I wish people didnt constantly bump into my car. Just thinking of getting a cheap ass ebay core because everybody likes to hit my front bumper and having somebody hit one of the DVDTFAB intercoolers and run away would literally make me cry my heart out...

Man everytime I see that intercooler it makes me want one so bad. I think I'm going to start saving up. To many TOYS not enough MONEY. ROFL

Nice intercooler man.I was trying to get on Dv/Dt's website and its not working. Can someone help me with that?.Is there a # I can call or some other site I can go to.How big is that intercooler?I am trying to fill the stock 98 talon bumber with a nice big intercooler. The bigest I have found is from Precision and its 28''x10.5x3.5 and its 34.5'' overall size.Does anyone know of a bigger intercooler then that out there?

Thanks Mike

Does the DV/DT kit allow you to retain the stock fogs on a 2gb eclipse?

No. Those endtanks are enormous. Look at Boosted98gsx's avatar.

Albert does some of the best work out there...

Dsmtuners member - kahl23 has one on his 2g it fills out the bumper cover very well.

I hope he doesn't mind but here is a pic from his gallery to give you an idea of how it fills out the cover.

Mike you do know that BIGGER isn't always better..unless you have need for it.

DV/DT Fab's site is up... http://dvdtfab.com/

Albert's # is in the top right of the main page.

DV/DT does GREAT work. Mike there is also E.T.S(a vendor on here) their site is ETS - Custom Turbo Kits, Intercoolers, Exhaust and Performance Parts - Extreme Turbo Systems

Love the product, Would have gone that way but I didn't have the cash, No cheap tube and fin core but bar and plate, Love the end tanks so much over A+ I'd say Good buy good luck, Cool beans.

Albert is not selling the intercoolers with piping anymore. But he will make them for you for a additional charge. I still believe that to this day it is the best flowing intercooler for a 2g. I have had the chance to talk to him a few times over the past 5-6 years and he is one hell of a engineer and has alot of good ideas.

Thanks for the compliment devioustsi! Albert is awesome. Great service and his welds are amazing. Definitiveno, when installing the intercooler, make sure you mount it on the low side. You can see in the picture up above how much space there is underneath my intercooler. The top few rows of fins are behind the bumper (I'll be fixing it over the winter). Save yourself the hassle and measure twice, drill once.

You guys all ####ing rock. If you want piping, just ask me nicely! But also realize that it will take a bit longer to get, its usually worth the wait though.

Stay tuned as the site is undergoing a major overhaul, I know it was down for a few days, but it should be pretty tits when its all done.

I am still around and still in business. COP plate pricing may go down too.

ISUJakey: ISU has a good ME program. I went to school there for two years before transfering to UIC.

My FMIC and intake pipe are still sitting in my shop waiting to be installed, LOL.

Also picked up his COP setup which is a work of art as well.

Hey thanks for the links :thumb:

Yes I do realize that bigger isn't always better. I do have a fairly "big" setup in the works, but do know this intercooler is probably to big for my application. As ridiculous as this sounds, I was planning on sacrificing the performance side to add to the cosmetic side of it. As we know, the DSM front ends are quite large (grill opening), and I had wanted to fill the space up as much as I could so you didn't see as much "emptyness". But after much talk with a good friend of mine, he convinced me to stick to the wiser route and go with a smaller intercooler.

Thanks again for your help though :)

Also, I'm not trying to take anything aways from this DV/DT intercooler. You can clearly see the craftsmanship and quality of the piece is superb. It's just too big for my application.

any pics of this on a 2ga? im buying one:sneaky: ive been looking for a good intercooler for awhile and it looks like i just found it :thumb: i would need some piping with it though. pretty please:D i sent you an email on your site albert. ill be looking to get the FMIC and COP setup sometime this spring and i need to talk to you about my setup. thanks, john
