dual wally fwd?

So im doing my dual wallys. I already got the pumps. I don't want to weld fittings but im concerned about room on the pump side. Will there be room to use 2 6an bulkhead fittings on the top and push fit on the bottom. I searched and didn't find any pics of a 2g fwd with dual wallys. I'm going to run 2 6an bulkhead to a y block to 8an to rail.

So here is some pics of my problem. If I use a hose clamp over the ss braid it leaks. It's a high pressure pump. So then I peel back he steel an clamp the hose but the spike on the steel puts holes in the hose. So I need fittings. I was going to do dual pumps but am worried about the room on the pump side. Does anyone have pics of there 2g setup on the bottom. I was thinking 2 6an bulk head on the top to a y block them on the bottom push fit. But again I'm worried about the room. Pics would be greatly appreciated.

I am wondering the samething myself. I will be using the STM kits for feed and return. I am wanting to do 8AN for feed and 6AN for return and just delete all the stock metal fuel lines.

If the mod list in your profile is correct then I don't know why you want to go through a headache of trying to fit pumps in the tank. One 255 is more then enough to make well over 400 HP
But if you are set on doing 2 pumps I think there is an easier and more efficient way of doing it. You will need to buy an inline 255 fuel pump. Put one pump in the tank hooking it up just like the factory. Go to a parts store and buy some nice heavy duty fuel hose, run it from the tank to your stock (assuming new) filter. Cut the stock hard line going in to the filter just like you did to the tank side and connect that hose to it. Take the hose that comes out of the filter and going to the fuel rail and cut it in half and plum the inline fuel pump in it. You will need to wire that inline pump on its own relay. Use the signal wire going to your in tank pump to activate the relay therefore turning on the inline pump.

I've done this set up on several cars that make 550+ whp running 30+ psi of boost and never have fuel issues.

There is also a way to run that fuel line inside your car along the floor board/door jam where the windshield washer fluid line runs, you will have to drill a hole in you firewall and the floor panel under the seat by the pump for the hose.

Th inline pump isn't an option. I have the tank to rail 8an kit. I already have two pumps. All I'm worried about is room for the push fit fittings. That's why I want to see some pics of 2g dual pump setup.

If you are running a 16g for a turbo then you are throwing your money in to the wind with twin pump set up. 16g couldn't make enough boost to over run a single 255. My brother has a 1g with hx35 running 30 psi (with water/meth injection) single in tank 255, completely stoyck fuel lines and filter, ported 2g fuel rail with 1000cc injectors, injector duty cycle never goes over 80 percent, car runs very strong.

My new setup is hx40. The reason I want to get it done, is cause I have a fuel leak and if I'm tearing it apart I want to just get my fuel system done with. So anyone have pics of the pump side of the dual hanger?

you could always sump your stock tank. I know you're asking for pics of the 2 pumps on the stock hanger but when I was doing the fuel setup for my car (2g fwd hx40) I found it easier to sump the stock tank and run the pumps off that.

You can see how I set it up here. I made 680whp with this setup with more fuel to go. These are two bosch 044s though.

Why don't you cut the sheet metal and give yourself some more room? If it is ugly, cover it with carpet or something. Otherwise, if you're gonna spend that much on AN fittings, you may as well make it look nice and keep it where you can see it.

Glen did a dual pump in tank before doing his AWD Swap.
He didn't use AN Fittings, but the dual pump did fit.

If that is a fwd hanger, looks like there is enough room for push fit. And another thing mine was leaking the same way he hose clamped it. I don't know if it's because I'm using hp pumps or not. I did also not flare it.

Almost any fuel hose will hold tons of psi, There is people using huge pumps with out a problem.
How old is your hose?, what kind is it?. If it still braking, it could be the hose by it self.

So you think it was leaking before because of the clamps? You think a hose clamp would seal it? What I can do is cut the hose again and clamp it again.

Well, First of all, SS lines are not for clamp use, only for fittings, you need to use some sore of fitting to convert it to Clamp, but I would weld an AN on the hunger to use AN fitting and that will definitely solve your problem.

If you use clamp, the same clamp will damage the hose which it is not so flexible as a regular hose.

Welding isnt a option. I want to to bulkhead. But this is my goal. I want to get my car running before I put dual pumps in and in my garage for winter. So I know ss hose is used with fittings. But just for time sake, will hose clamp be enough to drive it down the road and back to see how she runs?
