I'm pretty anti-rice man, but I also appreciate symmetrics of a car and tasteful mods. There's a difference between rice and tasteful exterior mods. We all have spoilers on our cars and my 1g has vents on the sides, it's like where do you draw the line? Are all srt4 guys not ricers because the factory did the dual tip exhausts instead of them, so it's fine? In my opinion, if I had one N1 sticking 4" out the rear bumper, that would be 100 fold more "ricer" than this.

And adding extra weight? Please dude. DSMs are pigs as is, and the extra 15# won't be noticed. Ever. It's a daily driven car, not a carbon fiber lemans car.

Dual tips are one thing, 4 tips is another.

I think having four tips is much ricer than a single high flow muffler.

Another thing is getting the bumper to look right after you put in the other set of tips.
I never really saw it as a quad tip thing, but I guess I could see it now.

I appreciate your opinion anyways.
 
It's your car do as you want, and just because its not OEM doesnt automatically qualify it as rice. I think that exhaust looks 100 times better than seeing broken down, ricey looking cars with stickers plastered all over it and chrome tail lights..

We have the same setup on our 95 camaro, and it looks pimp.
Who gives a s*** if its 4 cylinder, 6 cyliner, 12 cylinder, dont matter if it looks good.
I agree with you about the N1's. I run an open N1 downpipe on my car. I'd rather see the cutout in my rear bumper, then see a huge rice cannon stickin out.

Just to clear up, Im not bashing the dual single pipe look. There are plenty of four cylinders that have begun doing that(evox). Not to mention I own a srt-4. I dont mind the way it looks and realize that second tip is just for show, but if I could have one tip instead I probably would. The problem is that the cars bumper has two spaces for two tips, which would make it look a little weird.

I also have an SRT4. I have a 3 inch straight exhaust running out the side of the car. So to do away with the cutouts in the rear bumper, I just rolled the middle up, so the whole center section is tucked up.

Ive been thinking about doing that, but my upgraded exhaust is doing fine for me right now. I may do it after Im done buying the rest of my performance parts.

Personally, I wouldn't go dual tips. Anyone who knows anything about cars will know that it's just there for show. Original looks great, just get a paint job.

I would really have to agree with him. It's not like it's really changing anything, you're just splitting the exhaust more so then anything else.
