I know there have been a few threads on this, but I've been looking for about a half an hour and keep getting different info. Does it work well or not? What's the settings that have to be changed for DSM link to read the GM Maf signals correct?

Most of the threads I've been looking at are from 3-4 years ago, hopefully there's been some kind of update since then. I'm going to be getting the Link in a couple of weeks and I just want to be ready since this is my daily.

Also, included ANY other pertinent info about running link/gm maf combo. Thanks!
 
Just got my setup running with the 3" GM MAF and the full throttle MAF-T. You don't have to change anything in Link for it to work. You simply tell it you have a 1G MAF, since thats the signal the MAF-T produces for you. I made sure my MAF-T was all zero'd out and was in MAF mode. From there I did all my tuning in Link to get my fuel trims as close to zero as possible, and I did that with the MAF sliders in the airflow adjustment page. Works great, I recommend it! All you have to do is go under the miscellaneous section in dsmlink and check the box that says ignore iat/baro. The only difference with the tuning is you will have to calibrate the maf using the airflow sliders in dsmlink. A map sensor will make this part very easy.
 
I use an AEM 5 Bar MAP sensor, which I bought from HorsePowerFreaks. I chose this over the 3 or 3.5 Bar so that I don't have to worry about outflowing it. I have mine mounted inside, up under the dash near the steering column. I have a regular vacuum line running to my boost gauge (from the AFPR line) so I just tee'd into it for the MAP sensor. It does make tuning a lot easier!

I don't see a wideband in your profile, though, so I would look into getting one before getting a MAP sensor.
