just buy a Fast and Furious plastic model kit and build it however you want. sure it will have the blitz kit, but with some nice paint and maybe a change of wheels, it can look really nice. for mine, i painted the headlight housings black, put some 6-spoke rims on it, painted the hood black, car metallic silver, and the seats inside red. i them added two stripes from the side of a Saleen mustang and put them on the fenders. i also left it wingless till i can fabricate this one wing that came with my integra to fit on the car.

I would like to know if anybody has seen a model of a 95-99 eclipse in a stock form or atleast not the fast and the furious style. I have searched ebay and google and i can find anything. Please let me know if you know where i can get what i am looking for. I just want a stock one that i can make look like my car.

go get yourself an RS-4 and visit HPI on the wb and pick yourself up an Eclipse 2G body, paint it and play. Real men don't play w/little kiddie toys.....Screw Toy-R-Us, you're a big kid now.
And they cost a little more, but building a car from the ground up and knowing it can spank a Honda (yes, my Nitro RS-4 does 75+mph)...beware Del Slows and Civic 4-doors...ha ha.
I paid a little over $500 for my kit brand new a year & a half ago....but DAMN it was worth every penny....

Yes, i am looking for a model car, but thanx for the info. I would love to have a gas powered rc car but $500 bux is almost a big 16g for my big car so i cant spend that much yet.

next time im at walmart im gonna pick up another F&F eclipse. i have one built already, and now i want to see if i can make one into a spyder, same paint as mine, and see if i can find some good little rims for it.

The Modifiers series is the closest you can get to stock. Nothing has a turbo motor in it. Time for custom work.

Be glad you don't want a Talon model.

Model wise, there is no other one other than the F&F style one.

You can do what I plan and buying a can of OE spray paint and doing it the WAY I want too then glue the hood down

Most of that list says the cars were made in '94 - how can they have made FnF based cars when the movie didn't come out until six years later?

FYI one of the F&F models has the 4G63 in it. it also does not have a roof scoop. it is slightly smaller than 1/18 but I do not know the exact size, I bought one and repainted it., engine detail is fairly nice. I'll post pics at one point if I remember.

Yep - one of those pops up on ebay every few months. They were a special dealer gift back in 88-89 when the cars came first out. They usually go for over $100.

I've seen them go for a LOT cheaper when not posted on a DSM board

I guess I'll be waiting for the next one to come up for sale
