Dsm meets for 2009 in Las Vegas

Hey guys my g/f and I finally got moved out here. We live off of Trop and Boulder Hwy, anyone out this way? Anyways, I would like to come out on the 19th to Sonic if it's still gonna happen. But this idea of a dsm weekly meet is a very good idea, i'd be more than happy to help set it up with location and what not. I think a good day would ###### be Thursdays. You get happy hours, lighter traffic, and not too much attention from the local pd on a thursday night. Anyways, keep me posted on the sonic meet on the 19th as well as a potential weekly meet no matter what night it may be.

well to my point, me and a few other socal dsmers want to plan a weekend vegas trip some time early next year.. so i was wondering when is the best time to plan something like this. also since your guys are local do you know of any place where we can get a decent place for the weekend, maybe even a house for the weekend for a good price???

I live in Las Vegas, and i'm new to really learning about the DSM world. I have a 1998 Eclipse GST with an auto trans (yeah, i know i'll catch some slack for that, but i can't stand having to drive in traffic with a stick). My car is completely stock, with 123K on it. It's started to burn some oil, so i'm thinking of possibly having the motor rebuilt in about 6 months or so with better than stock internals. Anyone know of any good engine shops in Vegas that have plenty of experience in rebuilding 4G63 motors? I'm not looking for a "10 second car", just that when it's done, that i can safely get it up to around 300-350hp and still use it as a daily driver. I know i'll be needing my trans rebuilt too....any ideas there? Thanks for your help guys!

Welcome TrevTec Motorsports V.3 I know he built Matts 9sec 1g and I would trust him to work on mine
