Ok, so here is a short version of recent activity with my car. . .

My setup has not changed. My car was having fuel pressure issues, it would lean out at wot. Figured out my fuel pressure was not rising as it should, so I replaced the diaphragm on my afpr, and still had the issue. Well, after changing the afpr, fuel filter, fuel pump, I finally fixed my issue, it was the o rings on the fuel pump was cocked and after I fixed them, bam problem solved.

Well my car would not start. Went over everything, but it just cranks and cranks. Changed injectors with evo 550's, adjusted my fuel settings, BOOM fired right up like a champ. Figured something was wrong with my injectors, so I bought a set of FIC 950's. Set the fuel correctly via DSMLink's website, and nothing. So I swapped the 550's back in and bam fired right on up. Took both injectors to Tom and Dave (DSMLink) and they flow tested the injectors, they were perfect, nothing wrong with them. So we tried to diagnose the issue, they tried new injectors, High Impedance, checked all my connections, checked out ecu, changed injector resister pack, etc everything was perfect. Got home, and was tired so I started the next morning, put the 950's back in, and said F IT, and upped the global deadtime to 800's, boom fired right up.

Now, my dead time is NOT suppose to be that high, and yes all my other fuel settings are correct. Even Tom and Dave are clueless as to why that is. Now, as long as it works, perfect, I am all for it, but something is wrong causing the deadtime to be that high. NOTHING has changed setup wise besides what I changed (and that was to fix my fuel pressure issue). Also, something was iffy with my MAF, it would misfire, so I enable SD, and bam, problem fixed, no more misfire.

So I understand the MAF can go bad, is it, IDK, but wtf is causing my global deadtime to be soo damn high?

Ok, if you're in SD mode with it running and you change the dead time does the engine die? Even if opening at the wrong time the fuel should still at least puddle in the ports and although it would probably be leaner from some fuel sticking to the port walls it should still start but be lean at most.. now if they're firing off time that could be CAS or some other issue

Yes. Also to add, I have no boost leaks. And no, at normal deadtime, it refuses to start, just cranks and cranks.
