dsm dont start where to go from here

so i am at a lose for my talon. check fuses checked spark and fuel. everything is good. what else should i be looking at any suf=ggestions to help get this car back on the road where it belongs

i will try a compression check and i will also check the coolant temp switch as well anywhere else i can look

Cam angle sensor

I have had four dsm's and two of their CAS(cam angle sensor) have gone out. i would check into a cam angle sensor problem. If it works out hit me up.

like said above check the CAS. i had a no start car and found the CAS wire was melted in half so yours could have a possibility

I had the same problem and i got a cheap used ecu off ebay just to see if it affected my symptoms and it fixed it. though i recomend if you find this is the issue get an actualy refurbished or new one cause used ones seem to end up with the same issues after a short time of reuse i guess takes the capacitors off their last legs but try a cheap ecu of course for your car but it is a cheap way to diagnose alot with one part.

I am currently having the same issue as the OP. I just bought an eprom ecu with dsmlink just to see if it was the ecu (and to get dsmlink obviously) and it seems to be having an issue reading my CAS. So that is next in the list for me as well.

i am going to check the crank and cam sensor. the cas sensor is brand new maybe it just went bad or something got it ferom the zone. is there a way to check and see if you have a bad fuel pump that has been rewired.

I swapped my cas with my buddies and still a no go for me, im not really sure whats going on now. My next idea is pull the fuel rail and see if the injectors are squirting.
