So, last weekend I noticed the bolt that goes thru the bushing into the frame/steel, had come out and motor mount was not secured.

I jacked up motor and reinstalled. I would like to know if I am missing something. The bolt is 4 or 5 inches long and I screwed it back in. Right now the only thing holding the motor mount in place is that bolt and the only place it is attached is its threads.

Shouldn't there be something that supports the bolt close to the head of the bolt? Right now the bolt head is bottomed out on the steel bushing inside the rubber.

This does not seem right?

Here is the photo.

This bolt was out and engine mount was hanging on it. I reinstalled but it seems odd that it only threads in and nothing is supporting the head side of the bolt.

The black behind the bolt head is a rubber type spacer thingie.

Thanks

You're mistaken. The mount is 2 pieces of pressed sheet metal. You can see it at the edge. That black you're seeing underneath the bolt is the secondary sheet metal.
