hey there. my buddy is offering me a nice deal on a set of wheels and tires for my talon but here is the dilemma. he has a FWD, and i have an AWD. the tires on the rims he is offering me are slightly more worn up front than in back. the question is will this have a negative effect on my driveline in any way? do i need tires with equal amount of tread all around?

Just put the tires with more tread on the front. The extra front end weight will squash the tires down more than the back tires. That will get the diameters close enough.

If you're really anal about it you could measure tire height from the bottom of the rim to the ground and adjust the air pressure so all wheels are the same height. It won't make that much difference tho.
