Hey guys,

I was wondering would a 2g AWD down pipe fit a 1g AWD?

Yes I know they make some for 2g and 1g most likely for a reason.

But my point here is that in my 2g I had a 1g 6 bolt engine and the down pipe had no problem going around the oil pan etc.

What would the issue be here? I can also cut and re weld ( maybe need to rotate it ), to mount it to my current exhaust where my original downpipe is mounted now.

Does any know if this is possible and why it would not work.

It seems pretty straight , like my 1g DP.

Reason Im saying this is because I have a 2g 2.5 full exhaust in my garage. Not like I want to go buy a 2g AWD DP.

Also my exhaust in the garage is all 1 piece , no DP section mounted on.

I think this would advantage me since I could cut it the right length...( maybe the 2g AWD DP where longer/short this would fix that problem) no?

Thanks guys.

If it don't fit I will just go buy a 1g AWD. But if me and my buddy can cut it and weld an adapter ( not sure what its called there...adapter with the to mounting holes welded on the exhaust and DP)

P.S Im not talking about the WHOLE exhaust so no it comes out on the opposite side answer ... thanks :D
