I was wondering where the wires for the door switches go (2 for driver and 1 for passenger)? My dome light is not turning off and there seems to be a short somewhere other than the switches themselves. Just wondering where I should start looking for shorts.

why dont u press the button to turn them off completely til you find out the fix? I have the same problem, but my lights wont come on except if the hatch it popped. Mine is on a 1g though.

Maybe your lumintation is grounding out. Go to your fuse box under your hood and find the radio/dome light fuses. They should be conjoined in a yellow holder. See what color wires connect to it and trace it back. I know my gauge lights are grounded off so they stay on all the time. But I fixed it by tracing it.
